Taekwondo School Is Open!
Pecan Grove native son and World Champion Daniel Elkowitz has opened Fort Bend Martial Arts Academy in Pecan Grove at the Slaters Sports Zone facility.
The new complex is located at 727 Plantation Drive at Harlem Road. Taekwondo Master Elkowitz was a 2008 Olympic Team member, a former US World Champion, National Champion and one of the most beloved athletes in the sport internationally. The new Pecan Grove School will focus on the tradition of Taekwondo, discipline, respect and self defense. Master Elkowitz will teach traditional and Olympic style taekwondo. Classes are forming now for "Little Ninjas," (ages 4 to 6); popular school age classes; and adult "kick-it fit" classes (morning and evening).
